I am working on intelligent ultrasound imaging technology. We aim to leverage the knowledge of biomedical engineering, mathematical modelling, scientific computing and the state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology to develop and reinforce ultrasound imaging systems.
My research interests are deep learning based medical image reconstruction and analysis, and inverse problems in medical imaging, including ultrasound computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, photoacoustic imaging, etc.
Previously, I was a Research Associate in the Centre for Medical Image Computing, Department of Computer Science at University College London (2018-2021). I was a Project Researcher affiliated to both Fluids Engineering Laboratory and Medical Equipment Engineering Laboratory at the University of Tokyo (2017-2018). I was awarded my PhD from Department of Mechanical Engineering, the University of Tokyo (2017). My background covers mostly on numerical mathematics and scientific computing.
